All the components of our Cat Grass Kits are made or grow in the UK. We use Wheatgrass seeds grown for human consumption on a local family run farm. Our refill packs allow you to use your own container, a coffee mug works well. These can now fit through your letter box and are sent Royal Mail.
Grass is completely indigestible to cats so why do they eat it? Most scientists believe that in the wild cats will ingest grass to help them pass or throw up the indigestible parts of pray, like hair and teeth, which protects their digestive system from blockages. You may also notice that your cat eats grass and then very soon after vomits.
This is to help regurgitate the hair they have swallowed when they clean. If you have ever felt the raspy tongue of a cat you can just imagine how much hair they end up swallowing and this can be very uncomfortable for them.
No one wants to clean up cat vomit but at the same time not providing grass can lead to expensive vet bills and unhappy cats. This is especially important for indoor cats and cats living in countries where the weather can keep them indoors for extended periods.
It may even save your house plants!
Seems to have grown really well and quickly, not tried it with my cats as yet. Instructions were easy to follow and funny in places.
Seeds took only 5 days to get to the height in the photo. Didn’t use all the seeds as we wanted to save some to try to grow outside.Very pleased as previous attempts to grow cat grass failed.4 out of our many cats loved the catnip and I know that not all cats like it.Nicely packaged and arrived fairly quickly to an address outside UK.Happy with purchase.
Like all catnip's cats go crazy, but I was confused as to why there are grass kits included, never needed or wanted just part of this kit, I just wanted catnip, yet grew one (out of three included) and it grew VERY fast, but my cat hates it, sniffs and turns, yet loves the MASSIVE ABUNDANCE of free grass in the garden! I think this should be aimed at house cats, as in my sitaution 75% of the kit is simply useless and a waste of money. But the catnip is good.
Easy to plant and grew quickly, but my kitten is not interested in it at all and would rather chew on all my other plants.
Easy to follow instructions and quick to grow. My cat loved nibbling away at it!

Our cat loved loved the dried catnip. The fresh stuff was very easy to grow, however, our cat displayed no interest in the freshly grown catnip whatsoever.
Wow how it grows on a good size for the cat to eat put in down in front of her well the look she gave me was if it's well eat it yourself! and she prefers the artificial flowers .Dogs are the easier to care for. The cat nip it goes down a storm she plants herself over it lets me know it hers and to clear off she's not for sharing. So it's a very happy owner maybe the grass will be tried when I am not looking.

I’ve only just received the grass kits and they’re easy to set up.The catnip is quite strong and as you can imagine, my cat Yukio is having a party and is currently as high as a kite 😂
Easy to grow .....two days & sprouts peeking thru. By day 4 my cat was all over the grass very happy !! He keeps nibbling & will need to re order soon x
My Cat loves this! She always likes to go out to munch on grass everyday but the summer time brings a lot of grass cutting and the neighbours are quite fastidious about keeping on top of their grass! (We don't have our own grass patch) so i got this and taddah, problem solved a happy cat. Needless to say the extra strong catnip included was also a massive hit with all the cats in the neighbourhood it would seem! 🤦♀️ excellent value for money, super easy to grow and was also thoroughly entertained by their included humorous instruction sheet! Gold star from me and the cat. 👍⭐
I am not a one to write reviews but it had to be done.Packaging: great, tubs well sealed and easy to open.Instructions: absolutely loved it. Easy to follow and amazing sense of humour 👌Product: I have planted one pot so will see. As per the catnip provided, well I have 2 kittens and a rather grumpy 3 year old who has been plotting the kittens murder ever since they joined our family. Miss grumpy 😾 had us in stitches, she was eating the catnip and rolling all over it. Good sign. I also rubber some catnip all over the kittens tower. Oops. Grumpy decided then it was hers.She showed interest in playing and it was amazing to see that side of her.The effect didn't last long, 5 or 10 minutes and she was back to planning the kittens mirder again.Overall I think the product is a great one and I can't wait for the seeds ro grow.
I bought this for my two cats but neither were interested. It grew very fast and I think I got more enjoyment from watching it grow and watching the roots spread than the cats did. So it didn't seem to interest them. But that doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with this product.The instructions were clear, precise and quite funny. If anyone I know is after Cat Grass I'd recommend this one. It did exactly what they said it would. It isn't their fault that my kitties are picky sods.
I bought this mainly for the catnip, it's a good quality and most importantly works.
Simple enough to use, but you're going to get mould every time. Once the grass has budded you want to take the lid off and let it grow in the air. The mould will die back after a few days and once the grass is about 3 inches long you can give it to the cat. Personally I bought a large long tray, put a layer of stones for weight and drainage then 3 inches of soil mixed with the fertiliser. This way I don't need to keep doing new tubs or buying more.
This product is genuine high quality kitty loving goodness! My cat just loves the catnip which I was thrilled with as she has previously turned her nose up at other catnip products. The grass grew superbly and was really easy to grow. My cat just loved it and jumped straight in when I presented it to her. The only down side is that it gets messy and hard for her to eat as she lands up pulling the lot of it out of the container trying to eat it. Whilst she enjoys it thoroughly, mom lands up with a huge mess to clean up. I might try grow the next lot with mesh or a stocking over it to hold the soil in place as she gets stuck in.
I'm a bit sad to be honest.. I watered the plant once every couple of days (tested the soil not to drown it).It did last for a few days but that's about it.Long wait for a few days of fun.
