All the components of our Cat Grass Kits are made or grow in the UK. We use Wheatgrass seeds grown for human consumption on a local family run farm. Our refill packs allow you to use your own container, a coffee mug works well. These can now fit through your letter box and are sent Royal Mail.
Grass is completely indigestible to cats so why do they eat it? Most scientists believe that in the wild cats will ingest grass to help them pass or throw up the indigestible parts of pray, like hair and teeth, which protects their digestive system from blockages. You may also notice that your cat eats grass and then very soon after vomits.
This is to help regurgitate the hair they have swallowed when they clean. If you have ever felt the raspy tongue of a cat you can just imagine how much hair they end up swallowing and this can be very uncomfortable for them.
No one wants to clean up cat vomit but at the same time not providing grass can lead to expensive vet bills and unhappy cats. This is especially important for indoor cats and cats living in countries where the weather can keep them indoors for extended periods.
It may even save your house plants!

Best thing I ever did for my cats. They love to eat grass in the garden sometimes but with this mucky weather in the uk right now, itās best to have some grass indoors and this took only 1 week!!!! I couldnāt believe how easy and quick the grass grew. I followed exact instructions et voila! What you see here is 4 inches of grass after sowing a week ago. Will reorder for sure!

Product is well packaged and with clear instructions on how to plant the seeds for best results, after following them I had strong cat grass in 5 days and my cat loves to jump up to it as her morning treat after breakfast! The soil is also great quality, after trying out a few brands of cat grass, some grow mould (which is natural and unharmful but leaves an unpleasant smell), whereas I've never had that issue with this suppliers soil, so both cat and human very happy :)

My Cats love Cat Grass. I've bought it grown and as seeds that I grow myself. This kit makes the latter approach easier. You need to judge the exact pot size you need and buy the right number. The instructions are clear. I'd say a large Hummus pot would work about right if you don't have the right pots, or something similar in size. Easy start kit, and I'd advise not planting all at once. Stagger so the Cats always have a fresh supply coming along. You can reuse the pots. Once you're used to it all, then I'd say get a bag of the grass seeds yourself and just grow. It's very easy and pretty quick. Buying a kit like this adds costs.
Great value set, 4 lots of seeds and 8 soil pouches. Nice to have a refill for my existing tray. Great for your cat's digestion. Happy to recommend.
Grew really fast! The kit was great for my catit planter.
Not sure why but 1st one bloomed very well following one not at all. One in December slightly showed above the soil. January one didn't do nothing and second one same no show at all.I bought another on ebay and bag of soil from garden centre. All is fine they blooming well.Disappointed and if I would be doing something wrong then the first one would no bloom.Disappointed.
I used the growing pots from another kit so had to use two packets of the refill to fill it but still the grass was slower to grow than other makes, sparse, and more importantly cat didn't like it - whereas she happily nibbles away on other makes. Pity as I would prefer not to be continually buying full kits. Pity but won't repeat purchase.

This is a great cat grass pack. It's easy to grow and the cats seem to like it. It doesn't last particularly long but for the price that isn't an issue.

This is a refill for previously used starter pack. 100% grass growth results.Our girls are not quite sure and are only having the odd nibble but im sure they would eat more if they wanted it

Only downfall is seems a little expensive for what it is but the cats love it and Iāve added it to my subscription so I save a bit more
I already have a nice bowl from a kit i bought before, so this enables to reuse that dish easily with just updating the substrate and adding new grass seeds when the old stuff has died off
