Just add water! Your cat grass will sprout in 5 to 7 days and is ready to eat soon after, depending on conditions and use by your cat it should last at least 2 weeks.
Grass is completely indigestible to cats so why do they eat it? Scientists believe that in the wild cats will ingest grass to help them pass or throw up the indigestible parts of pray, like hair and teeth, which protects their digestive system from blockages.
You may notice that your cat eats grass and then very soon after vomits. This is to help regurgitate the hair they have swallowed when they clean. If you have ever felt the raspy tongue of a cat you can just imagine how much hair they end up swallowing and this can be very uncomfortable for them.
No one wants to clean up cat vomit but at the same time not providing grass can lead to expensive vet bills and unhappy cats.
This is especially important for indoor cats and cats living in countries where the weather can keep them indoors for extended periods.

Excellent organic cat grass seeds . Easy to set up . Started to sprout after 5 days this photo is day 8 . Beautiful colour of green . I use a grow lamp for my cat grass as I find the window to hot 🔥 please be aware not to put too much soil in you need a good space at the top between the soil and top of cup otherwise when the seeds start to grow they push all the soil up and out)
As an indoor cat my cat enjoys chewing on the grass. I made up two pots and when they were dead two more. Each pot lasted about 16 days.No plastic pots either so eco friendly too
Great box nicely packed with pots, seeds and earth. Instructions are written with love and humour. Would make a lovely present. Only planted today so can't comment on the end result yet.
The pots etc.look fine.I have just potted the seeds so will know more in a week or so.
Everything you need in package, easy to plant and it grows very quickly.Brought as a deterrent for my kittens trying to eat my house plants, I don't think it's been that effective in that sense, but they do love the grass.
